What could me and my boyfriend do for a date?

so my bf garrett asked me out last night, and said we should go to the movies but i don't want to go to the movies cus its just watching a movie and no ones talking . Also this is probably like the 2nd date had , the last one was kinda not so good cus there where 2 other ppl there and i wasn't really comfortable. Also i live pretty close to the mall and the movie theater , almost like walking distance and my mom is like kinda low on money lately so something that's free or cheap would be great. also hes parents get home at like 7 on weekdays so it be hard for us 2 go anywhere during that time. So whats a good date place for us to go to?
