Some crazy hair style, what is it called?

Okay, i feel stupid for asking this question, but i have to know! I've seen this hairstyle everywhere. Girls have a small strip on the side of their hair or under, but it's dyed two different colors all the way down. they're horizontal stripes. usually blonde and black. What is this called? i've been thinking about doing it to my hair...
