My Bank has rolls of kennedy half dollar coins.Should i buy them?

I called my bank about kennedy half dollars and all they said was yes we have rolls of half dollars.I understand they are not in the business of letting me route through coins so is it a good idea to just go buy a few rolls an hope some 64 or pre 64's are there an are post 64 worth more than .50? need advice.Thanks
