HELP!!! my mum doesn't like my emo style, what should I do?

I have recently gotten into emo style and my mum hates it! she doesn't like my makeup or clothes and we had a massive fall out before! I tried to talk to her but she doesn't understand what i like. she won't let me get my hair dyed or wear eyeliner. It's really bugging me and i have to wear all of my girly clothes that i hate to wear. my friend's are all emo's and keep making fun of my clothes. what should i do?? :'(
